To be clear:
Deep Woods ready offers many courses to teach you to be confident confident in the woods.
Classes are held in person in northern San Diego County.
My hope is that you will study with me many months or years.
You may study with me each month or take one class per quarter or one class per year.
We will not be hunting as part of the course is held in San Diego. However, much of what we are learning applies to hunting should you decide to harvest an animal.
Dedicated Hunting classes will be offered beginning in April 2023.
I’m teaching five disciplines at once:
Axe handling, archery, photography, gun handling, and fly fishing.
The primary focus in these five disciplines Is to study six tools. The axe, the bow, the camera, the fly rod, rifles and pistols.
In the summer and fall of 2023 there will be deep woods trips in Oregon, Wyoming, and California, that you will be invited to.
I will cook lunch ahead if time for us to eat together on our class days.
